M3 Junction 9 Improvement Scheme

Public Consultation – Thursday 27 May 2021 to Thursday 8 July 2021

All of us who have been held up at the junction of the M3 and the A34 (in either direction) or while trying to get out of Winchester via Easton Lane and the Tesco Roundabout should welcome the changes. But if you have concerns about any aspect of the programme, now’s your change to raise them.

Highways England have circulated a letter about their Public Consultation on the proposed changes to M3 Junction 9.

Their letter is reproduced in full at the end of this page. The main points are as follows:

  • Following on from the previous public consultation in summer 2019, Highways England have made some changes to the Proposed Scheme and would now like to know what you think of their latest proposals. They are running a public consultation which will began on Thursday 27 May 2021 and ends on Thursday 8 July 2021
  • Visit www.highwaysengland.co.uk/m3junction9 to see the consultation documents, an online qestionnaire form for submitting comments and a Virtual Consultation Exhibition room.
  • Direct link to the Virtual Exhibition Room
  • All comments must be sent to Highways England by 11.59 pm on Thursday 8 July 2021
