The Parish Plan Project

In 2006, after talking to other parishes who had found the exercise to be a very valuable community project,  we set up a committee to develop a Parish Plan and a Village Design Statement.

The whole community was encouraged to take part, with open days, fund raising events, and a parish-wide questionnaire.

We set up a separate website to manage progress of the project. The relevant documents from that website have been have been transferred from the Parish Plan website to this website and can be downloaded using the links below.

Erratum

The following error was noticed after publication of the printed version of the Parish Plan.

Page 9, under the heading "Farms": Four Dells Farm is listed as one of the farms of the HCC-owned Compton Estate. The farm is privately owned and is not part of the Hampshire Farms Estate. It used to be called Four Dell Farm.

[Editor's note added 2016: in planning applications the farm is now being called "Four Dell Farm", although the Royal Mail postcode finder lists it as "Four Dells Farm"]
