Twyford Pharmacy Deliveries – Important Update
for
EXISTING PATIENTS & CUSTOMERS AGED 60+ of Twyford Pharmacy
I am delighted to tell you that we successfully launched our delivery service at 1.30pm on Monday 30th March. Over the last 3 days we’ve managed 400 deliveries. I’m pleased to say we have received really positive feedback from our patients/clients AND we extended delivery to the over 60s as well as the over 70s.
A huge thank you to the hard-working NHS staff in Twyford Pharmacy who are pulling all stops out to continue their service and to the fantastic volunteers who have stepped forward.
We have also extended the areas covered by adding St Cross, Winchester and Hurlsey to Twyford, Colden Common, Compton, Shawford, Owlesbury, Fair Oak and Otterbourne.
REMINDER If aged 60+ your monthly medicines will be delivered to your door by volunteer drivers. The date for your delivery and approximate time will be agreed with you on the telephone. Repeat prescriptions will also be collected from you on the doorstep.
All drivers are trained in protection techniques/ safe distancing. Patient and customer confidentiality will of course be maintained.
Please DO NOT SEND FRIENDS/RELATIVES TO THE PHARMACY to collect medicines for you as we need to prevent people having to queue and risking their own health during these challenging times.
Please continue to remind your 60+ friends and relatives to
STAY AT HOME AND WE WILL GET YOUR MEDICINES DELIVERED TO YOU !
We now have sufficient driver volunteers plus a waiting list – so A BIG THANK YOU.
