M27 Weekend Closure 29-30 June 2019

Ref: M27 junction 3- 4 weekend closure of M27 – Romsey Road Bridge

We are embarking on the second stage of the Romsey Road bridge project where we will be installing the new bridge that will span the M27.

Junctions 3-4 of the M27 will be closed from 10pm Friday 28 June we have the road closure booked until 5am Monday 1 July however, we hope to be completed by the morning of Sunday 30 June.

During this closure period we will be driving the new bridge that has been built in an adjacent field, onto the M27 and putting it into place on the newly built supporting structures.

To safely and effectively undertake this work we will need to close junctions 3-4 of the M27 in both directions. There will be 3 local roads closed, Toothill, Hoe Lane, and Lee Lane. Please note that the A3057, Romsey Road Bridge will remain open on two way traffic lights throughout the closure.
