M27 Overnight Slip Road Closures Jan-Feb 2019

Work continues along the M27 Junction 4 to 11 Smart Motorway scheme, as we progress our programme of installing narrow lanes between junctions 4 to 8.

We’re now carrying out drainage repairs along the M27 to allow for the narrow lane installation, which will require a number of slip road closures on the M27, the first of which will take place this evening.

We’ll complete this work overnight between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 of the next day on the dates listed in the table below.  Some of the works will also require nighttime lane closures, but at least one lane will be kept open in both directions throughout the evening.  We’ll also keep the motorway fully open throughout the day during the works, although there will be a requirement for some hard shoulder closures during this time.

Please accept our apologies for the short notice of these closures.  Our ongoing drainage works have presented some unforeseen issues, which has slightly altered our programme, therefore we brought forward a set of works to ensure the scheme keeps to its original overall programme.  We appreciate your patience and understanding during the construction period.
