Please be advised that the scheme detailed below has been postponed and will be rescheduled to take place utilising future closures of the A34 for resurfacing between Three Maids Hill and Kings Worthy (dates to be confirmed).

Dear Stakeholder,
A34 Headbourne Worthy (Hampshire) – Southbound Layby Resurfacing
I am writing to advise that Kier Highways, on behalf of Highways England, will be resurfacing the layby located off the A34 southbound carriageway, south of the A272 Three Maids Hill junction.
We will also be utilising the closure to undertaken routine maintenance works.
The work is currently scheduled to take place overnight (10pm to 6am) on Tuesday 4 July 2017*.
Traffic Management
In order to carry out the work as efficiently and safely as possible, we will need to fully close the A34 southbound carriageway from the A303 (Bullington Cross) to Kings Worthy.
During the closures a clearly signed diversion will be in place via the A303 and A33.
Confirmed dates for the closures will be displayed in advance on signs along the A34.
We would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused during the works.
