Public consultation on proposals for changes to the Household Waste and Recycling Centre service

Consultation closes 25 May 2016

Hampshire County Council is asking members of the public for their views on how they think savings can best be made in the cost of running Hampshire’s Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs)

These proposals include changing opening hours and/or the possible closure of some HWRC sites. It is possible that a combination of the proposals, and options within them, will be considered.

Your views on these proposals for the HWRCs are very important as the County Council needs this feedback to inform its decision-making about achieving savings across Hampshire County Council.

Hampshire Hospitals survey – views of public wanted by 13th May 2016

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust which run the hospitals in Winchester, Basingstoke and Andover, are keen to hear the public’s views on what they offer, as part of their planning process this Spring. So YOU now have an opportunity to give feedback on the current services provided by Hampshire Hospitals and their future plans, through an online survey. You can give your opinion on local maternity services and the proposed new Critical Treatment Hospital among other things. The questionnaire also seeks your views on what more could be provided locally where possible, to make services even more accessible. You can read more about the survey and access it from here: (link no longer available)

N.B. The survey closes on Friday 13th May.

Hampshire Hospitals have also produced some short films which feature some of the Trust’s clinical leaders talking about their services, the challenges they face and their plans for the future. The films can be viewed on the HHFT website through the above link.
