HCC Walking Strategy

HCC Walking Strategy Update

HCC Walking Strategy In 2015, Hampshire County Council produced a draft walking strategy, which was made available for public consultation.

Its overall aim is to encourage more people in Hampshire to walk regularly, particularly for short trips, such as to work, education or to the shops, to improve their health and wellbeing and contribute to the quality of life which sustainable travel brings.

The consultation closed at 12:00, on Monday 7th December 2015.

Following the consultation the strategy document was updated, formally approved on 16 January 2016, and published on the HCC website.
