Southern Water public exhibition: Totton to Otterbourne pipeline
Southern Water is planning a scheme that will help secure water supplies to customers in Hampshire and on the Isle of Wight.
The proposed scheme involves upgrading Testwood Water Supply Works (WSW) in Totton and constructing an 18.5 km pipeline between Testwood WSW and Otterbourne WSW.
The Testwood Water Supply scheme is essential to ensure there is enough water available to supply customers, particularly during periods of severe drought and to secure supplies for the future.
It will make the network more resilient and flexible and allow us to move water around the area more easily.
