Burglary and Theft – Local incidents in June
According to Hampshire Alert, on the last two Thursdays in June there were burglaries on Main Road, Otterbourne, two properties in Clease Way, and Shawford Road – these involved searches for cash, car keys and jewellery. They reportedly occurred between 11pm and the early morning hours. The police issued this witness appeal for CCTV footage and dashcam footage
It is not just a question of opportunist burglaries as the people concerned are targeting those who could have higher value items. They are using bolt cutters etc. to get into locked sheds, outhouses. People should be aware and look out for suspicious activity.
