Bus Timetable Changes from Monday 30 October 2023
Bus service E2 from Winchester to Eastleigh via Compton and Otterbourne no longer runs.
Bus E1 from Winchester to Eastleigh via Twyford and Colden Common is replaced by a new service, bus 61.
Stagecoach have announced the following
Changes to Winchester to Eastleigh services E1 and E2
Following a tendering exercise by Hampshire County Council, there will be changes to services E1 and E2 which run between Winchester and Eastleigh from Monday 30th October.
The existing service numbers will no longer be used, and instead a new Service 61 will run.
Most journeys will follow the existing E1 route between Winchester and Allbrook but will then run direct into and out of Eastleigh along the existing E2 route via Twyford Road. Some peak journeys will continue to serve the existing E1 route through Broadlands Avenue and Shakespeare Road at Boyatt Wood.
Passengers from Colden Common and Brambridge will have a more frequent and direct service to Eastleigh.
Compton and Otterbourne will no longer be served by these services so passengers for Eastleigh will need to use BlueStar 1 and change to 61 at St Cross.

Service 63 runs on Mondays and Thursdays .

Bluestar No 1 – Mon-Sat
The Bluestar No 1 Winchester-Southampton service runs every 20 minutes during the day Mondays-Saturdays and every 30 minutes on Sundays. Less frequently in the evenings.
