At the Hampshire Association of Local Councils AGM on 22 October 2016, held in the Jubilee Hall in Hartley Wintney, Compton and Shawford Parish Council was announced as the Winner of the Best Local Council Website 2016.

Webmaster Adrian Walmsley is shown here receiving the e-mango shield from the Chairman of Hampshire County Council, Councillor Keith Chapman MBE,  with  Michelle Leadbitter, HALC Communications Officer.

Congratulations to Lyndhurst Parish Council who were second this year, and to Denmead Parish Council, winners of the competition in 2010 and 2011, who took third place .

Congratulations to all the winners in the other categories, and thanks to HALC for organising the awards.

The CSPC website is in our opinion simply stunning … a standard to which others should aspire
