On Sunday 8th November, at All Saints Church in Compton, the traditional Remembrance Sunday service starts at 10:50am.

We will be joined by our local 5th Winchester Scout group who this year will be particularly remembering the Gallipoli campaign.

After the service, whatever the weather, we meet at 12:15 on Shawford Down for an act of remembrance. We’ll read out the names of the fallen and lay wreaths, first at the wooden Wayside Cross and then at the nearby stone War Memorial.

Everyone of whatever age is welcome to join us, whether in church or on the Down, or both.
