Because the Scout Hall was unavailable, the October 2011 Parish Council meeting was held at All Saints’ School in Compton Street, by kind permission of the head teacher.

Councillors and members of the public attending the  meeting were surprised to see this unexpected visitor.

Proceedings were suspended while Councillor Beckett gently transported the unusual guest to safety in the churchyard which adjoins the school.
