We will shortly be undertaking carriageway surface repairs on the B3335 St Cross Road, Winchester.
The works are between the A3090 Badger Farm Road roundabout and the St Cross Road junction with Lower Stanmore Lane.
This is part of the annual programme of works being undertaken by Operation Resilience.
Dates and time
- We plan to start the works on Thursday 24 January 2019 for two nights.
- The carriageway closure will be between 20:00 and 06:00hrs.
The above timescales are weather dependent. We will list any significant changes to those dates on the yellow signboards at the works limits.
I would like to take this opportunity to apologise for any noise disturbance that might occur as a result of these works. Owing to the strategic nature of the road, working during the day is not possible.
Notes
In order to help us to complete the work as quickly as possible, please ensure that no vehicles are parked on the road on the days of the resurfacing.
Please be aware any vehicles left parked on the road that prevent the works taking place face the risk of being removed.
For your safety and that of our workforce, we are unable to guarantee vehicular access to and from adjacent properties during working hours. Pedestrian access will always be available.
To avoid potential injury or damage, please do not walk across the carriageway during the works unless directed by a member of the workforce.
Thank you for your co-operation. If you need more information about these works, please call our contact centre on 0300 555 1388.
