Operation Resilience – Compton Street Closure September 2018
As part of the annual programme of works being undertaken as part of Operation Resilience, Hampshire Highways will shortly be undertaking drainage works in Compton Street, Compton.
Compton Street Closure planned times: The works are programmed to start on 20th September 2018 and are expected to last for 2 days, during which time the road will be closed to vehicular traffic, between the hours of 09:00 – 15:00hrs. The road will be open during evenings and weekends
Properties affected: the road will be closed from Flint House to the end of Compton Street past Cox Croft Farm.
Hampshire Highways are unable to guarantee vehicular access to and from these properties during working hours. Pedestrian access will always be available.
Information signs advising road users of the works will be erected approximately 2 weeks before the start of works. A letter will be sent to local residents and an email has been sent to Compton and Shawford Parish Council to advise them accordingly.
