About Twyford Pharmacy
The Partners of Twyford have offered a dispensing service to their patients for over 20 years. This has allowed us to provide medical consultations and prescribed medication from one site which delivers a convenient end to end system of patient care. Following a review of government plans for the pharmaceutical sector in 2006, the partners invested in a pharmacy at the surgery to provide patients with a broader range of medical and pharmaceutical services.
The Pharmacy at Twyford Surgery is run for surgery patients and non-patients, and offers the combined benefits of pharmacist and GP knowledge and care. Twyford Pharmacy is under the direct ownership of the GP partners of Twyford Surgery.
We have recently been asked whether there are any links between Colden Chemist (which is near our Colden Common Surgery), and Twyford Surgery and our Pharmacy.
Twyford Pharmacy has no direct commercial or financial link with Colden Chemist. We work independently to provide integrated pharmacy, GP and nursing care to support the residents of Twyford, Colden Common, Otterbourne, Upham, Compton & Shawford, parts of Winchester and other surrounding areas.
