New home for the Parish Website

Hampshire County Council is closing its web hosting service.

Our parish website was one of the first to use the (initially free) service which HCC launched about 20 years ago, and it has served us well. But the County Council need to make cost savings and there are now many other hosting providers who give good value for money.

Parish Website move

So we’re on the move. We’ll migrate all the contents of our current website to its new home. We may take the chance to give the site a fresh lick of paint in the process.

The new parish website is already up and running. Its address is: comptonshawford-pc.gov.uk.

We’ll aim to make the change as easy as possible. The old and new addresses will work in parallel for a short period.

We aim to have the parallel running phase completed and the site fully live in its new home by 1 April 2016.
