Local Man rows the Atlantic

Our very own Will North, 28, has recently completed rowing the Atlantic with Dan Howie in the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge, the world’s toughest rowing race. Rowing as team Atlantic Row 2013, they were first in the pairs class and completed the 3000 mile passage in 53 days.

Will North will be at the Pavilion on Wednesday 23rd April, appropriately St George’s Day. You will be able to hear all about his experiences during the voyage, as well as about his boat, the preparation and how he coped with the mental pressure of such a long and dangerous trip.
