Have Your Say Winchester Grants

Voting deadline – end of April 2013

Voting is now open for small grassroots community projects that you would like to see funded.

Have Your Say provides funding – grants of up to £1000 –  for local projects, chosen and voted for by local people.

Hampshire County Council has provided the funding and Winchester Area Community Action looks after the local scheme.

Which projects can I vote for?

The full list of projects (38 of them) is at http://www.waca.org.uk/haveyoursay/, where you can also find more details about the grants and how the scheme works.

Compton & Shawford-based projects in the scheme

  • Compton Village Association project to preserve and restore an old brick and flint wall
  • Compton & Shawford Parish Council Project Flowerbuzz to create a wildflower meadow on Shawford Down
