Rogation Sunday walk

Cooling off in Compton Lock April 2011Bob Jordan writes:

The walk will start outside All Saint’s Church in Compton Street at 14:30 on Sunday 29 May.

The walk will take about one and a half hours and will finish back at the Church.

Those who wish to walk further will find it very easy to extend the walk by half an hour or more.

We will head for the viaduct at Hockley and then head back to Shawford along the towpath to Compton lock crossing the canal going north to Compton via Place Lane.

There is no need to book.

Children welcome.
