The Beanstalks and the Old Time Music Hall, the last two events of the Centenary Programme, ran to full houses and were a roaring success. Many congratulations to all those involved. The Parish Council joins the Centenary Committee in saying a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has helped as well as to all who joined in to make the whole episode fun. It has reminded us how lucky we are to have the Hall as a focal point for our village social occasions. The end result financially has also been a success in that profits from programme and ticket sales have covered production costs and provided more than sufficient to subsidise the Children’s Party which we gather was much appreciated by those who attended.
