At its May meeting, the council as required by law, elected its chairman and appointed its committees for the coming 12 months. Among other items covered were follow-up to points raised at the Annual Parish Meeting in April, new equipment for the QE II Playing Field, planning policy and a possible new bench in Compton Street.
